Dubai International Academy
Dubai International Academy (DIA) was the first school in the United Arab Emirates authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) to offer the full continuum of the IB curriculum.
DIA is fully authorised to provide: Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). DIA was delighted to become an IB World school in 2007, and has recently attained accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of School and Colleges (NEASC). DIA has also received re-authorisation for all 3 programmes.
DIA opened on 10 September, 2005. The school has more than 1,850 students of over 80 nationalities and 247 staff members of 42 nationalities. DIA aims to deliver international programmes of study that provide students with the tools to communicate across the world and help them become lifelong learners.
