Dubai College
The College is a 'not for profit' organisation overseen by a Board of Governors. It is a co-educational day secondary school catering for students from 11 to 18 years of age. The majority of the 800 students are British, but over forty other nationalities are also represented. The vast majority of teaching staff are British.
The College can be found in the heart of the 'new Dubai' district. Set in nineteen acres of spacious, landscaped grounds, the College offers state of the art facilities in keeping with contemporary Dubai. The College boasts a 900 seat modern purpose built auditorium, a well-established Music Centre, 14 Science laboratories, Drama studios, extensive Design and Technology facilities, a library containing 27,000 resources including hard copy, digital and on-line facilities, and a dedicated Sixth Form Centre to accommodate our 200 plus A level students.
Dubai College has, in the last thirty years, built up a tradition of excellence and can rightly claim to be in the top rank of UK curriculum schools within an international setting. We also offer an extensive co-curricular programme involving over ninety activities covering the creative arts, sport, hobbies and academic pursuits. The College has a strong tradition of excellence in the performing arts and has achieved significant regional and international success in sport. There are numerous opportunities for local and overseas travel including the Duke of Edinburgh and World Challenge expeditions, educational visits and charity initiatives.
Since the establishment of the College in 1978 a flourishing community has been built which enables our students, parents, staff and alumni to look back on the past with pride, enjoy the present and contribute hugely to the future.
